Debbie Dunning is a high school graduate from John Burroughs High School, the school from which her parents has attended. A cheerleader and school's Homecoming Queen, Debbie Dunning was crowned Miss Burbank in 1984.

Debbe later began her modeling career with Miller Beer commercials and went on to do several other commercials like Ford Motors, Taco Bell commercials and Foot Locker, which indeed happens to be her first television commercial.
